The 5 Newbie Do's In A Coastal Vacations Startup
Assuming you’ve done your homework to see which team suits you best, I found that I could look to my director to give me practical, step-by-step instructions and guidelines to get me set up. Lord knows I did that as I barraged her with, as she states it, “a million emails” and probably had her frantically sorting through her inbox to try to answer my questions. Nonetheless I bear no shame in what I did, because as we all know, we got to do what we got to do to get ourselves up and running.
Lucky for me, my director has been very patient with me and seems to have the knack to take my concerns and address them to me personally as well as to express them in a way that the rest of my team would understand legitimate envelope stuffing companies her email blasts. After speaking and learning from her on many occasions, here are 5 things that I’ve come to understand when starting your very own Coastal Vacations business:
1) Know that your director knows all that you can do to market and advertise your business to the world. Then, do them!
2) Sales skills aren't necessary in Coastal Vacations BUT you still need to practice your scripts and follow-up emails to personalize what you would say to your prospects. But then again, sales to me means providing working at home stuffing envelopes of a product/service and its benefits in an honest manner. Speak in front of a mirror if you have to! If it looks and sounds fake to you, then you’re probably being fake to your prospects. Do yourself a favor. Keep it real. Speak to the mirror and see if what you’re looking at seems genuine.
3) Be persistent in your marketing and advertising efforts but you don’t always have to remain consistent. What I mean by that is if you feel your ads aren’t bringing in enough traffic, don’t beat the dead horse, and consider changing your wording up a bit. So far stuffing recipes me, advertising using MY truth (in other words, advertising with words that got me started with Coastal Vacations in the first place) with less hype like exclamation marks! and ALL CAPS seem to be working better for me.
4) This is part of #3 above but your persistence is what will bring traffic to your site or your 800#. Do something, even if just a little, everyday to let prospects know you have what they want.
5) Being in Coastal Vacations, or any endeavor for that matter, is a mindset. My guess is that you’re in this for financial- and very likely cubicle-freedom. I’m looking for that (and the travel perks) stuff envelopes so I know I can’t just wish for this to happen. Concentrate on this and the action list from #1-4 will bend to your demands.
